Remy de Gier was born and raised in Geldrop, near Eindhoven, and completed his studies in notarial law and Dutch law in Nijmegen in 2012. After this, he successively worked at a notary office as a candidate notary, at a large funeral insurance company and at a company specialized in settling estates. Since1 July 2019, he has been working in notarial practice again and is one of the faces of Marks Wachters notaries.

Remy deals primarily with personal and family law and conducts discussions on wills, living wills, cohabitation contracts, certificates of inheritance and prenuptial agreements. He is also involved in the settlement of various estates.

Since the summer of 2024, Remy has been a notary at Marks Wachters notaries. Remy is also a frequent member of various Eindhoven networking associations and sits on the board of the Young Business Club of FC Eindhoven.
