Han Kersten studied Notarial Law at the University of Nijmegen and has been working at Marks Wachters notaries since 2014. Prior to that Han also gained 2 years of experience in notarial practice at another notary office. Han completed the professional notarial training in 2017 cum laude and in early 2021 he was sworn in as a notary at Marks Wachters.

Han focuses primarily on corporate law and advising entrepreneurs in general. In his practice, Han advises many SMEs, family businesses and start-ups. He has extensive expertise in the field of B.V. structures and legal form choices, the restructuring of companies and the drafting of financing agreements. Han also advises on the formation of cooperation agreements or on business acquisitions. Han also has extensive knowledge of personal and family law and real estate law.
