Anique Wetzels completed the study of Notarial Law at the University of Nijmegen in 2005, after having completed the study of Dutch Law at the University of Maastricht in 2004. Since 2005 she has been working in the notarial practice and specifically in the field of the law of persons and family law. After completing the professional training for the notary's office in 2009, Anique is deputy qualified and regularly passes deeds on behalf of the notary. From September 2011 through March 2015, Anique lived abroad with her family. After returning to the Netherlands, she enjoyed working in the notarial practice again in January 2016.

Since February 2018, Anique has joined the team at Marks Wachters as a candidate notary. Her work consists mainly in the area of the law of persons and family law. She regularly discusses wills, living wills, prenuptial agreements, partnership agreements, estates and so on. She also regularly deputizes for the notary in his absence.

Anique works part time and loves spending time with her family on her days off. She enjoys being outdoors, going on vacations and eating and drinking with family and friends.
