Merger
A merger is a complete consolidation of legal entities. This can be arranged by setting up a new acquiring legal entity in which the merging legal entities will be combined. Or by the disappearing legal entities merging into an already existing legal entity.
In a merger, the entire capital of the disappearing legal entities is transferred to the acquiring legal entity and the former cease to exist. The assets do not have to be transferred separately. Also, this does not require the cooperation of creditors and contract partners.
