Remy de Gier sworn in as a notary public!

By Royal Decree of July 5, 2024, Remy de Gier was appointed notary public in Eindhoven. On August 22, he was sworn in by the East Brabant District Court.

Remy de Gier (37) has worked in legal services since 2012 and joined Marks Wachters notaries as a candidate notary from 2019. He completed professional notarial training in early 2023. As notary, he takes over protocol (the deeds and responsibility for files) from former notary Raymond van de Wouw, who passed away in April 2021.

Making clients feel welcome

Remy specializes in the law of persons and family law and has led this department in Eindhoven for the past several years as a candidate notary. With his appointment as notary, Remy de Gier is the third notary at Marks Wachters, alongside Anne van Uden and Han Kersten. Together with candidate notary Robert Mirck and lawyer Jaap van Zwet, they are at the helm of Marks Wachters notaries and strive to be the leading notary office in Greater Eindhoven.
