Our services
Our office requests your personal data only for the following purposes:
- Performing commissions for consulting or other services;
- To meet legal duties and obligations;
- or for the purposes to which you have specifically consented.
Your data will not be processed for other purposes without your consent.
Personal data is requested for the preparation of a notarial deed or for the performance of another task.
Personal data rules in notarized deeds
If our office prepares a notarial deed containing your personal data, the notary must comply with legal regulations. These affect the processing of personal data:
- The notary is obliged to process certain (personal) data in the deed. Your data is therefore processed on a legal basis.
- The notary is required to keep the signed deed containing your personal information in perpetuity.
- Once the deed is signed by the notary, it becomes an official piece of evidence. Then nothing may be changed about it, even if the personal information is incorrect. If changes are needed, the notary must make a new deed incorporating the change.
- The notary is obliged to check certain (personal) data in the Basisregistraties Personen (BRP), Handelsregister and Kadaster.
- The notary is required to verify your identity. To do so, he must request a valid proof of identity from you. The notary may also copy this with all the information on it.
- Your personal data is covered by the notary's professional secrecy. Unauthorized persons will not have access to the data.

For other processing of personal data by our office:
- The retrieval, collection, consultation, use and storage of personal data for the purpose of preparing, passing, processing and storing notarized deeds has the following purposes and corresponding legal grounds:

o This is done only with your permission. - The retrieval, collection, consultation, use and storage of personal data for the purpose of providing services to which no authentic deed is linked such as consulting, private deed and estate settlement has the following purposes and corresponding legal grounds:
o Performing the assignment.
o Performing the agreement. - The provision of personal data by means of transmission for the purpose of entering data or deeds in a register has the following purposes and corresponding legal grounds:
o Making it known.
o It is a legal duty. - The capture and consultation of personal data for the purpose of legalizing signatures has the following purposes and corresponding legal grounds:
o Confirming the authenticity of the signature upon request.
